- Stuart Kettlewell named just one change to the Motherwell team that clinched a shock 2-1 success at Ibrox against Rangers, before a sole-goal defeat to Aberdeen at Fir Park in their last league game before the international break.
- Liam Kelly continued in goal with Paul McGinn, Bevis Mugabi and Dan Casey in front of him to make up the Well's backline. Stephen O'Donnell and Shane Blaney remained at right wing-back and left wing-back respectively.
- Blair Spittal dropped back to join Lennon Miller in the middle of the park, as Davor Zdravkovski made way. Sam Nicholson came in as the Steelmen's only change to join Jack Vale, in support of lone striker Theo Bair up front.
- Stephen Robinson named four changes to the St Mirren side that bounced back with two late goals to beat Aberdeen 2-1 in Paisley, before a 5-2 defeat to Kilmarnock in Ayrshire where they were two goals to the good against Killie.
- Zach Hemming continued in goal with Alex Gogic and Marcus Fraser in the Buddies' back three, joined by the incoming Charles Dunne - who put Saints ahead - who replaced James Bolton. Scott Tanser remained at left wing-back.
- Ryan Flynn took Elvis Bwomono's place at right wing-back. Club captain Mark O'Hara made his first start of 2024 as Hyeok-Kyu Kwon made way in midfield. Conor McMenamin came in for Lewis Jamieson to join Greg Kiltie in support of Mikael Mandron.
