Team News

Hearts
Livingston
  • Hearts boss Steven Naismith made two enforced changes after Kilmarnock held the men in maroon at home in a 1-1 draw at Tynecastle, before the Jambos bounced back with an impressive 2-1 win in Paisley over St Mirren on Saturday.
  • Kye Rowles accompanied Stephen Kingsley and Frankie Kent as Hearts shifted to a back three. Dexter Lembikisa and Alex Cochrane changed to become right wing-back and left wing-back respectively, as the ill Beni Baningime made way.
  • Cammy Devlin joined teenage talent Macaulay Tait and Jorge Grant, who slotted the Jambos ahead in Paisley from the spot, in the middle of the park. Lawrence Shankland, Hearts' main marksman, was also ill as Kenneth Vargas and Alan Forrest started in attack.
  • Davie Martindale named just one change to the Livingston team that was swept aside by Celtic 3-0 in West Lothian, before they held Aberdeen to a 0-0 draw in their last home match on Saturday afternoon.
  • Sean Kelly has filled in at left-back, with Jamie Brandon continuing at right wing-back. Michael Nottingham, Ayo Obileye and club captain Mikey Devlin remained the three centre halves in front of Shamal George in goal.
  • Jason Holt dropped out of the Livi midfield, with Stephen Kelly and Scott Pittman chosen against Aberdeen. Dan Mackay took his place on the right hand side, with Steven Bradley on the left flank in support of lone striker Tete Yengi.

Prediction

  • Hearts are in need of three points as they are aim to wrap up third place in the Scottish Premiership, but Livingston could do with three points if they are to remain in the top tier next season.
  • After a disappointing draw with Kilmarnock in their last match at Tynecastle, Hearts headed to Paisley and ensured that their excellent recent record against St Mirren continued. Last Saturday's success at the SMISA Stadium means the Jambos have won three of their last six trips there, losing just once. The men in maroon are aiming for a third league victory over Livi this season here.
  • Livingston are now unbeaten in their last four home matches against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership, winning two and drawing two. However, last weekend's goalless draw has done them no favours in attempting to climb the league table. They closed the gap to Ross County by a point but, given they trail the Staggies by nine, they could've done with the victory to aid their cause.
  • Hearts are aiming to make it three wins from three against Livingston, in their third and final Scottish Premiership meeting this season, as time looks to be running out for Livi in the top tier.
