Prediction

  • Antalyaspor beat Istanbulspor 2-1 last time out. They dominated the game, created a plethora of chances, and fully deserved their win. Barring the away loss at Fenerbahce, which was expected and acceptable, Sahin's team has been quite impressive so far this season. This will be their second biggest test, where they will face a tired Galatasaray side. Sahin's priority will be to contain the title-holders in the first half and see if he can take advantage of fresher legs in the second.
  • Galatasaray were 2-1 winners over Ankaragucu last time out. Then, on Tuesday evening, they caused a serious upset, beating Manchester United 3-2 in the Champions League tie. Although there were moments when they were totally outplayed by United, the impressive result will be a massive boost for their morale. However, that game will have taken a physical toll on some players, particularly those on the wrong side of 30. So, this will be far from a walk in the park for Buruk's side.
