  • Karagumruk were demolished 5-1 by Trabzonspor last time out. Following the game Arveladze was sacked and Kafkas brought in. Kafkas has not had a very successful Super Lig career as a manager and the board probably hired him for his disciplinarian approach rather than tactical nous. It is a mystery how the team will react to the parting of ways with the Georgian manager and the hiring of Kafkas.
  • Konyaspor shared points with Adana Demirspor in a 2-2 draw last time out. They haven't lost in their last three outings and have won two of them, so it seems things are slowly getting back on track for the Anatolian side.
