- Interim Ross County boss Don Cowie named an unchanged Staggies side after their first ever victory over Rangers at the 25th attempt with a 3-2 success in Dingwall, before a 2-0 defeat away to Livingston last Saturday afternoon.
- Ross Laidlaw continued behind an unchanged defence consisting of Connor Randall, Michee Efete, Jack Baldwin, Ryan Leak and George Harmon. Eli King, Victor Loturi and Yan Dhanda continued as the midfield trio.
- Although a winger by default, Josh Sims was chosen to partner Simon Murray in attack as Jordan White and Eamonn Brophy had to settle for places amongst the substitutes against Livi last weekend.
- Hibernian manager Nick Montgomery made just one enforced change to the Hibees' starting eleven despite missing out on the top six after being held in a 1-1 draw with Motherwell at Fir Park, before a 3-1 win in Perth against St Johnstone.
- David Marshall continued in goal behind a back four consisting of Jordan Obita, Rocky Bushiri, Will Fish and Chris Cadden. Joe Newell was joined by Nathan Moriah-Welsh as Nectarios Triantis returned to the bench at McDiarmid Park.
- Élie Youan is injured, so Myziane Maolida moved out to the left hand-side as Adam Le Fondre took the Frenchman's place up front. The veteran striker was supported by Emiliano Marcondes and Martin Boyle on the right hand-side.
