Team News

Brighton
Man City
  • Brighton have no fresh injury concerns for Saturday's welcome of Manchester City, with Adam Webster, James Milner and Solly March absent.
  • Joao Pedro, Yankuba Minteh, Matt O'Riley, Lewis Dunk and Yasin Ayari all face late fitness tests.
  • Manchester City are without five players for Saturday's game at Brighton, with Ruben Dias, John Stones, Oscar Bobb, Rodri and Jack Grealish all absent.
  • Kevin De Bruyne returned to action at Sporting on Tuesday and is set to start.

Prediction

  • Brighton head into Saturday's welcome of Manchester City on a three-game winless run, and have lost their last two, both against Liverpool. They don't have a great record against City but they face Pep Guardiola's side at a good time.
  • That's because City have now lost their last three following their 4-1 mauling at the hands of Sporting on Tuesday night. The Cityzens have won only one of their last three away league matches, which doesn't bode well against a Brighton side that is unbeaten at home in the league this season.
  • Brighton's unbeaten home record may continue this weekend, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see City end their losing run ahead of the international break.

  • great result. antifootball and playing for 1-0 rightly punished

  • Manchester City loses again, the whole world celebrates again.

  • So incredibly glad that finally, finally teams are brave enough to go toe to toe with Guardiola sides. As long as teams are locked in, there's nothing special to deal with besides moments of brilliance from the best players money can buy. Without those players firing on all cylinders, Guardiola tactics are very much one dimensional.

  • Another bad day for Manchester City

  • Man City 'bottled it'.Pep will blame injuries again and say players are tired from the midweek UCL game :)

  • The amount of injury time is a joke.

  • @Marbella Should have been a lot less even ref could not even get a win for MC. :)

  • LOL City! Pep The Fraud going mad!

  • Amazing performance by Brighton! oh wait

  • @Badtips hello

  • Manchester City win x-2

  • @Mojje abow

  • Haaland -120 / Foden +230 TSA

  • BRIGHTON Verbruggen; Veltman, Van Hecke, Igor, Estupinan; Adringa, Hinshelwood, Ayari, Mitoma; Rutter, Welbeck

  • MAN CITY Ederson, Lewis, Walker, Simpson-Pusey, Gvardiol, Kovacic, Gundogan, Savinho, Foden, Nunes, Haaland

  • @Marbella SUBS Ortega, Ake, De Bruyne, Bernardo, Akanji, Wright, O'Reilly, McAtee, Wilson-Esbrand

  • Man City Win...... Surely Pep can't lose 4 in a row? Brighton have been great this season but you just gotta feel City are due to turn it around soon lmao

  • @KingKeno Sure they can lose 4 in a row ...

  • @KingKeno LOL City!

  • @KingKeno why not

  • @KingKeno why not

  • De Bruyne, Haaland, Foden

  • Where's Foden?

  • If city played a more defensive/counter team they would struggled. This is the perfect game for City. Brighton play open football. It’s all about who outscores who and City easily outscore Brighton. Haaland Brace and Foden goal. High scoring game with City winning. Something like 4-2 city win

  • @Fauda No mate...if it is open football, City loses...their ONLY game plan / tactics is to control the opposition in their own half, failing that, they are headless chickens running around aimlessly...Watch City, their wingers running clear down the flank WILL turn around and pass it back to a fullback...They have a robot who charges into the box and destroys CBs but they refuse to pass the ball to him and only offer him some tap ins...it's infuriating but that is their game, Seems only Ederson or KDB are allowed to try through balls for Haaland to run onto.... (Also, how can they control the match to be in the opposition half for 70% of the time with 20 shots and only win matches by one goal????) This one loos like 1-2or 2-3 to City...a draw is not out of the question. and if many players don't come back from injuries, they might lose by a goal...

  • I think away win, odds may rise till kick-off. Haaland missed too many chances recently, he to score too. Bts +overs of course. Many corners as well

  • Guardiola will not lose a 4th game in a row. Man City win, both teams to score, Foden to score.

  • Brighton to win in 90min and over 1.5 first half. 10-1 odds

  • Brighton have lost only 1 of their 8 home games this season.

  • Brighton double chance
