Team News

Man City
Tottenham
  • Manchester City could be without no fewer than 11 players through injury here, though only four players are confirmed absentees.
  • The likes of John Stones, Jeremy Doku, Manuel Akanji, Nathan Ake and Phil Foden will need to be assessed, but could be involved.
  • Mateo Kovacic sustained an injury during the break and will be sidelined for three to four weeks.
  • Spurs will be without Rodrigo Bentancur for the foreseeable future, as he serves a seven-match FA suspension.
  • Micky van de Ven, Wilson Odobert and Richarlison remain ruled out, while Cristian Romero, Timo Werner and Mikey Moore are doubts.

Prediction

  • Manchester City went into the November international break following four straight defeats – a run of results never before experienced under Pep Guardiola.
  • The champions were undone by Brighton in their last outing, which followed the 4-1 thumping against Sporting in the Champions League just days before.
  • Tottenham also return from the break in need of a positive result, after back-to-back defeats to Galatasaray and Ipswich Town before the break.
  • Spurs may be encouraged by the 2-1 home victory they recorded over City just under a month ago - in the Carabao Cup - but it is difficult to look past a home triumph here.

  • finally, Pep brainless playing CD Gvardiol as left-back and defender in midfield has been punished time and time again. A new era of coaching emerges, glad to be a witness of that process.

  • @koziol.mutant forgot, he also substituted Lewis for Grealish as a central box-to-box midfielder. lol

  • Liverpool next. That could be fun! YNWA

  • Time to delete club, Manchester City! No one will miss you, anyways.

  • @Sputnik butthurt

  • @Socio4Life Like many things, City lives in his head rent free. He has issues.

  • @MEHJones The 'rent free' line is getting really old at this point.

  • @Socio4Life WTF? I support neither of these clubs. I just hate City, like 90% of football fans.

  • MC 52 game ubeaten home run ends big time.

  • @Marbella Wow! Is that really true?

  • I feared the worst when Bissouma got a yellow in the first minute but it all turned out fine. Tottenham weren't even lucky.

  • That was great!

  • Most managers would get sacked for 5 losses in a row and get hammered at home 0-4.

  • @Marbella Even if they have won 4 leagues titles in a row and sitting second on the table?

  • @GoonerRSA Yes.

  • improve more by performances and by chances.

  • clean match.

  • Pep will blame injuries and again say there is too many games and not enough rest.

  • What the .. ㅋㅋㅋ

  • Feyenoord will fancy their chances on tuesday.

  • You have to wonder how old is Bernado Silva. He runs like he is 40. I have to say Spurs are never scared of City. The way they are playing is amazing. Even last year, some of their players didn't want win. Haaland is starved of the ball.

  • Pep The Fraud without Rodri+KDB

  • the 2 old guys are no longer fit for purpose...even Silva looks spent...Pep's refusal to buy players is haunting him now...5-in-a-row? :p

  • @AramisMick They cannot sign players due to FFP rules.

  • Begging, pleading with the football gods for Citeh’s downfall

  • Looks like 5 losses in a row for MC currently losing 0-2

  • Man City 3-1

  • @Marbella соси

  • @ukrainakakashke 去死吧,极客!

  • Haaland TSA -175

  • Looks like a scored draw...For some reason City can't shake their fitness problems...oh well...hoping for the robot getting 3 goals involvements and KDB getting some positive actions...

  • MAN CITY Ederson, Walker, Stones, Akanji, Gvardiol, Gundogan, Lewis, Savinho, Foden, Bernardo, Haaland.

  • @Marbella SUBS Ortega, Ake, Grealish, De Bruyne, Nunes, Wright, Simpson-Pusey, O’Reilly, McAtee.

  • SPURS Vicario, Dragusin, Son, Bissouma, Maddison, Udogie, Solanke, Kulusevski, Porro, Sarr, Davies.

  • Both teams have lost their last two, City their last four. Both teams badly need a win which make it very cagey or very open. With international break behind them I'd lean towards the latter. City are still without Rodri but Tottenham are without Romero, Van der Venn, and Bentancur. Kulsevski and Son often play well against City so don't be surprised if one of both of them scores. De Bruyne and Haaland to score for City. City 2-1 Tottenham.

  • @MEHJones Their names are van de Ven and Kulusevski. A Tottenham fan can't even spell their own players' names, how typical!

  • @Sputnik I was writing quickly on my phone. I spelt them well enough to know who I meant. Good stalking skills though. I clearly live in your head rent free.

  • @MEHJones Excuses much? I definitely wasn't stalking you, I was looking through the comments on this match. And I simply don't like typos. Proper grammar is very important.

  • Man City have been heavily backed with most bookies from 1.53 odds to 1.35 odds.

  • 1-0 home win

  • City win

  • @KingKeno loooooooool

  • 3:1

  • City are vulnerable at the moment but it is always naive to write them off especially at home. Spurs are unpredictable. They can even go there and try to help City win. I don't know whether the Spurs that will show up is the one that destroyed Utd at Old Trafford or the one that lay down and let them on at home to Ipswich. I go 2-2.

  • Man City have kept just 1 clean sheet in their last 9 home league games.

  • City to win, never bet on Spurs. Less reliable than a 2p toilet condom

  • @Overmars Who needs condoms anyway?

  • Tottenham midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur has been given a seven-match domestic ban by the Football Association for using a racial slur about team-mate Son Heung-min.

  • over 1.5 first half goals

  • Spurs gets something here , possibly a win but at least a point , spurs double chance !

  • @IanWright Well done!
