- Robby McCrorie continued in goal behind Lewis Mayo, Joe Wright and Robbie Deas. Danny Armstrong remained at right wing-back with Corrie Ndaba on the left hand-side as Oliver Bainbridge was sat among the substitutes on Saturday.
- Liam Polworth made his first start since September, as David Watson made way in midfield, joining the incoming Fraser Murray and Brad Lyons who were chosen in the middle of the park. Bruce Anderson and Kyle Vassell lead the line as Marley Watkins dropped onto the bench.
- Hearts boss Neil Critchley named five changes after the Jambos were beaten in Belgium by Cercle Brugge 2-0 in their Europa Conference League match, before they rescued a point against Aberdeen at Tynecastle last Sunday.
- Craig Gordon continued in goal behind a back four of Daniel Oyegoke, Frankie Kent, who was stretchered off in Denmark after replacing the injured Craig Halkett, Kye Rowles and James Penrice. Cammy Devlin and Malachi Boateng remained in the middle of the park.
- Blair Spittal was joined by Kenneth Vargas and Alan Forrest, who replaced Musa Drammeh and James Wilson, in support of Lawrence Shankland. The Jambos' number nine netted a brace against Dundee last weekend but is suspended to face Kilmarnock in Ayrshire.
