Team News

Argentina
Colombia
  • Argentina have a fully available squad to select from here.
  • Lionel Scaloni may go with the same XI that started the 2-0 semi-final win over Colombia.
  • That would see Gonzalo Montiel continue at right-back.
  • Daniel Munoz is suspended after his first half red against Uruguay.
  • Santiago Arias should deputise at right-back for the Copa America final.

Prediction

  • Argentina go in hunt of their 16th Copa America as they aim to become the most successful team in the competition's history. The 2022 World Cup winners have won every game so far and have conceded just one goal in five matches.
  • Colombia are seeking to win the Copa America for just the second time. Los Cafeteros have really caught the eye in the USA, with James Rodriguez in particular rolling back the years to shine.
  • Argentina should have enough to defeat Colombia at the Hard Rock Stadium.

  • argentina. Hhahahahhhaha. I am so happy for guys. Well done. Martinez is really becoming decisive player now. This is good.

  • What a waste of time. What a waste of talent. Every 30 seconds someone rolling over. A disgrace. South American football has really gone to sh.t

  • @greeker96 you are an idiot. There was not one time with a player rolling on the ground without some very serious contact. Watch the game properly next time.

  • Wasn’t this game supposed to start an hour ago?

  • havent watched colombia so no analysis but just some advice for scaloni: sub out tired players early!! after 70 mins your midfielders arent proactive, and messi and di maria dont offer much. this is especially important because aggressive pressure is your whole style of defending... youre not really relying on how amazing your starters are individually. you have paredes, lo celso, acuna, one of the 9's, and molina on the bench! i think scaloni either being scared to sub or overestimating how much better his starters are has cost him many times and was his weakness even in the wc final. i know theres no chance he subs out messi, and im pretty sure di maria will get minutes in his last match. if argentina prefer to lose than to win without their stars that they are so grateful to, then so be it. but if you constantly look terrible in the late game and concede and have to go to pens... you need some advice. not that they are bad at pens, but why not just sub?... i dont get it
