Team News

Adana Demirspor
Istanbul Basaksehir
  • Nabil Alioui is injured so Bunyamin Balat is likely to start in midfield.
  • Andrew Gravillon has suffered a cruciate ligament tear and will not be able to feature for the remainder of the season.
  • Ali Yavuz Kol and Breyton Fougeu, neither of whom were expected to start here, are also on the injury list.
  • Yusuf Sari has signed for Basaksehir and will not feature here.
  • Leo Duarte will deputise for the suspended Ousseynou Ba.
  • Deniz Turuc has served his suspension and will return to the starting XI.

Prediction

  • Adana Demirspor caused a major upset beating Hatayspor 3-1 last time out. This was their first away victory and second consecutive win. They were uncharacteristically clinical in front of goal and in the end deserved their win. Sari, one of the few remaining stars in the club, has left Adana Demirspor and more are expected to leave in the January transfer window.
  • Basaksehir shared points with Kasimpasa in a 2-2 draw last time out. Considering that they played a European game in Belgium three days ago and that quite a few key players were injured, this was a good result. The return of Turuc and Gurler means Atan will be able to field his strongest attacking lineup here.
  • Although Adana Demirspor have done well in the last two weeks, Basaksehir are favorites here.
