- Another Barca stalwart, injured goalkeeper Victor Valdes, this week wrote an open letter to say goodbye to the only club he has ever played for.
- Diego Godin is again available after his ban and will likely return to partner Miranda in defence.
- Doubts remain about the fitness of star striker Diego Costa, but the Hispano-Brazilian did partake in training with the squad on Thursday and is expected to start.

the way Atleti came out in second half was reminiscent of the brilliant second leg of CL against Barca. We were down a goal, missing two key players, as well as two substitutions. Simeone sure knows how to motivate his lads

I dont have words to describe how shrewd and nous coach Simeone is. He hardly spent big bucks but all those bucks were restituted by his footballing brilliance. Lechiffre10, you must know nothing of Spanish football. The away support is never allocated huge numbers of supporters. Also, have you not seen atleti play acting either? In this match, they have spent 10 mins on the ground alone. All Spanish teams do it. Just because Atleti are a smaller club, people treat them like a little love child. Grow up.
Barca fans, in all honesty how can you support this team? They cheat, dive and constantly complain to refs. They allocated 500 tickets to Atletico fans at a 98,000 capacity stadium. Im at loss for words how anyone can support this type of lack of sportsmanship.
