Manchester City and Liverpool are interested in bolstering their midfield options by signing Nice star Jean Michael Seri in January, claims The Daily Mail.
Seri was heavily linked with a move to Barcelona in the summer and was frustrated not to seal a high profile switch to the Spanish giants.
The Ivory Coast international has endured a disrupted season with injury and that has prevented the Nice star from rediscovering his best form.
However, that hasn’t deterred Liverpool or City from showing a strong interest in the 26-year-old less than a month out from the January transfer window.
The Premier League duo could both, however, face competition from Paris Saint-Germain if either step up their interest with a formal bid in January.
In the last two Ligue 1 campaigns, Seri has completed the more passes than any other player (3,338).
