Jurgen Klopp will drop Loris Karius for Liverpool’s match away to Middlesbrough on Wednesday night, reports The Times.
Karius, 23, has come in for heavy criticism since making the summer switch from Mainz to Liverpool after making a series of mistakes that have proved costly in recent weeks.
The Liverpool manager has given Karius his full backing in the media up until this point but has moved to take the German shot-stopper out of the limelight as Liverpool look to bounce back from their 2-2 draw with West Ham at the weekend.

It means that Simon Mignolet, who has hardly covered himself in glory at Liverpool, will return between the sticks in the league for the first time since midway through September when Karius was recovering from a broken hand suffered in pre-season.
In the last four Premier League seasons Mignolet has committed more errors that have directly led to a goal than any other player (10).

It's about time. Liverpool can't afford to lose momentum. A shaky goalkeeper could potentially undo so much hard work.
