Chelsea have approached Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore regarding a summer move, according to Tuttomercatoweb, via The Daily Express.
The Blues are expected to make wholesale changes to the squad in the summer when Italy head coach Antonio Conte replaces Guus Hiddink and they are already lining up targets.
PSG shattered a French transfer record when they signed Pastore for £33.4m from Palermo in 2011 and the midfielder has won a league title in every campaign since his arrival.
However, the Argentina international will reportedly be allowed to leave the Parc des Prince this summer if PSG are able to recoup nearly all of what they paid for the midfielder.
Injuries have permitted Pastore to make just nine starts in the league this season, but he is still contributing towards a goal every 116.2 mins of league action (two goals, four assists), which is an impressive return when you consider how stop-start his season has been.
