Juventus have confirmed the signing of Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain.
The 28-year-old had been attracting interest from a host of teams across the continent, with PSG, Bayern Munich and Arsenal all linked with a move for the frontman.
However, the Serie A champions have today announced his capture on a five-year deal for a fee of €90m, paid over the next two financial years.
“Juventus Football Club can today confirm that it has purchased the registration rights of Gonzalo Higuain for €90 million, payable in two financial years,” a statement read on the club’s official website.
“The player has agreed a five-year contract with the club.”
Higuain scored an impressive 36 league goals for Napoli last season, the best return in Serie A.
