Southampton striker Graziano Pelle has emerged as a transfer target of Lazio this summer, according to The Daily Mirror.
Lazio are on the market for a new striker with 37-year-old striker Miroslav Klose expected to leave the club at the end of the season.
Pelle, 30, has previously spoken of his desire to return to Italy before he retires and he is reportedly perked the interest of Lazio president Claudio Lotito, who is keen to conclude a deal before the Euros in case he attracts more interest.
The Italy international only has one season left at St. Mary’s before his contract expires and Southampton could look to cash in on the striker rather than face the prospect of losing him on a free at the end of next season.
Pelle has scored the most goals for Southampton in the Premier League (22) since joining from Feyenoord in 2014.
