Tottenham need to act quickly to secure the services of Hull defender Harry Maguire this summer, reports the Sun.
The 24-year-old has impressed for the Tigers this term with his stock soaring following a number of mature performances in defence.
Should Hull drop into the Championship, they would find it increasingly difficult to retain the services of Maguire, with the vultures beginning to circle.
Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino is supposedly keen to bring in another defender as they gear up for another Champions League campaign, with Maguire a readymade arrival for the north London side.
That being said, they would need to act swiftly if they are to lure the England hopeful to White Hart Lane, with recently-crowned Championship champions Newcastle looking to bring Maguire to St. James’ Park.
Maguire would likely gain regular first team action for Newcastle rather than at Spurs, but the chance to play for a Champions League side could be too difficult to turn down for the defender, whose WhoScored rating (7.10) is better than any other Hull player this season.
