Wolfsburg are eyeing a summer move for Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud as they seek a replacement for Nicklas Bendtner, according to The Daily Mirror.
The Bundesliga outfit terminated Bendtner’s contract last month and are on the market for a new striker in the summer following their underwhelming performance in the league this season.
Giroud, 29, has endured a torrid 2016 and has repeatedly been heckled by Arsenal fans who have lamented Arsene Wenger’s inability to recruit a top class striker.
The France international is currently enduring the worst drought of his Arsenal career having failed to score in the league since the start of January (vs Liverpool).
In fact, he hasn’t scored in his last 927 minutes of action. Despite that, however, no Arsenal player has scored more goals in the league than the Frenchman.

Arsenal would be crazy to sell him unless world class striker they buy first
@koziol.mutant And Wolfsburg would be crazy to buy him. There are better strikers with a higher upturn.
