Crystal Palace captain Scott Dann could be about to make a shock move to the Chinese Super League and will wait to discover whether he has a future under new manager Frank de Boer before deciding on a move, reports The Daily Mail.
The 30-year-old defender endured a miserable campaign last season that was wrecked by numerous injuries and it remains to be seen whether he fits in with De Boer’s philosophy as the Dutchman looks to bring total football to Selhurst Park.
Beijing Guoan are one of the teams in China to express an interest in the centre-back and it could mean Dann becomes the first prominent English player to move to the riches of the Chinese Super League.
In the last two Premier League campaigns only Patrick van Aanholt (9) has scored more goals of all defenders tan Dann (8).
