Villarreal defender Eric Bailly is undergoing his medical ahead of a £30m move to Manchester United as Jose Mourinho closes in on his first signing at Old Trafford, reports The Daily Mail.
Bailly enjoyed a sublime season for Villarreal last season as the Yellow Submarines secured fourth place and a ticket back into the Champions League for the first time since 2009.
The 22-year-old is now poised to become the first player from the Ivory Coast to play for United after the two clubs agreed on a £30m fee following reported interest from Barcelona and Manchester City.
Villarreal stand to make a huge profit on the central defender having only paid £4.4m to Espanyol in January 2015.
Of players to have made at least 15 dribbles in La Liga last season, no player did so with greater success than Bailly (93.8%).
