Borussia Dortmund have confirmed they have signed Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi on loan for the remainder of the season.
Batshuayi has struggled to win over Antonio Conte's complete trust in the last 18 months and has now left to find regular playing time.
Dortmund moved for the Belgium international after it became clear Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would join Arsenal.
With Chelsea signing Olivier Giroud, it was clear Batshuayi was no longer part of Conte's plans this season and now he will be able to play regularly in Germany.
Moving to Dortmund should also enhance Batshuayi's chances of making the Belgium squad for the 2018 World Cup after struggling to get a look in at Chelsea even when Alvaro Morata was unavailable.
Nevertheless, Batshuayi is the only Chelsea player to have scored in the league, Champions League, League Cup and FA Cup this season, netting 10 many goals in the process.
