Manchester City are interested in signing former Manchester United and Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes, according The Guardian.
Valdes, 34, is a free agent after being released by United at the end of last season and Pep Guardiola is looking to bolster his options between the sticks after Richard Wright was not handed a new deal.
Guardiola worked with Valdes during their time at Barcelona and is very interested in reuniting with him at the Etihad over the summer.
The former Spain international made two appearances for United in his two years at the club and also endured a poor loan spell with Belgian side Standard Liege towards the end of last season.
