Turkish champions Besiktas are weighing up a move for Aston Villa striker Rudy Gestede, according to English business newspaper City AM.
Besiktas are determined to sign a new striker this summer following the departure of Mario Gomez and have since been linked with a variety of strikers currently based in England.
Manchester City’s Wilfried Bony and Chelsea striker Loic Remy could prove out of their financial might, but a move for Championship forward Gestede would be well within their means.
Only Troy Deeney (241) has won more aerial duels in the Premier League since the start of last season than Gestede (208).
