Weidenfeller pens new Dortmund deal

Borussia Dortmund have announced veteran goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller has put pen to paper on a new two-year deal keeping him at the club until 2017.

Weidenfeller, 35, has been at the club for more than a decade but has lost his place in the team to Roman Burki since the start of the season. In fact, he has only featured in the Europa League thus far (six starts).
