Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has listed Monaco winger Thomas Lemar as a top transfer target for the club, reports The Daily Mirror.
It is only a further sign that Wenger plans to continue as Arsenal manager with the Frenchman already planning ahead to the summer transfer window.
Big changes are expected at Arsenal this summer after their thoroughly underwhelming campaign that has pushed Wenger to the brink of leaving.
Lemar has spent the last two years with Monaco after joining from fellow Ligue 1 side Caen in 2015 and has even earned a senior France call-up in that time.
Wenger is a long-standing admirer of the 22-year-old but will have to pay well in excess of £25m to secure his services given the season both Monaco and Lemar have enjoyed this term.
Lemar has scored or assisted 16 goals in 31 league appearances this season (nine goals, seven assists) and became the first player since Andres Iniesta to assist in four consecutive Champions League knockout matches since May 2011 earlier this year.
