Eden Hazard has put Real Madrid on red alert after revealing it would be a dream to work under Zinedine Zidane.
The Belgium international has been heavily linked with a move to Madrid in the last few years after establishing himself as one of the best players in the Premier League.
The 26-year-old is still committed to Chelsea, but could not help himself but lavish more praise on the man he idolised as a child.
“Everyone knows the respect I have for the man,” Hazard told RTL during the international break. “For the player he was and for the coach he is, he was my idol.
“Of course I don’t know what will happen in my career in the future, but to play under him would be a dream.
“At this time, though, I’m happy at Chelsea. I still have a lot of things to do at Chelsea, and I’m focused on Chelsea.”
Given Madrid’s early season struggles, it would not be a surprise if the reigning European champions went out and made some big signings next summer to revitalise their offensive options.
After missing out on a Galactico signing this summer, Florentino Perez will almost certainly look to make a statement at the end of the season and Hazard will almost certainly come into the equation if he has a good campaign.
In the last four Premier League campaigns, Hazard has won at least four more WhoScored Man of the Match awards than any other player (30).
Sitting on two chairs, Good job Hazard !!!
