Inter are keen to sign Chelsea midfielder Oscar but will need to bid in excess of £25m to sign the Brazilian, reports The London Evening Standard.
Oscar, 25, has dropped down the pecking order at Chelsea since Antonio Conte reverted to a 3-4-3 formation, with Nemanja Matic and N’Golo Kante preferred in the central midfield areas.
The Brazil international hasn’t started a Premier League game since Chelsea’s 2-1 defeat at home to Liverpool midway through September and now won’t get back into the team unless either Matic or Kante are unavailable.
Chelsea beat Inter to Oscar’s signing in 2012 but the Serie A giants are now expected to renew their interest and finally land the creative midfielder, although Conte’s side are looking to recoup all of their original investment.
Conte blocked the move in the summer but is now understood to be willing to listen to offers, although a summer switch would appear more likely than a January move.
Only Marcos Alonso (4) averages more tackles per game of Chelsea players in the Premier League this season than Oscar (3).
