Manchester United have moved a step closer to signing Antony Martial after the Monaco striker passed his medical, according to Sky Sports News.
United lodged a stunning £36m bid for the 19-year-old in the wake of their underwhelming 2-1 defeat at Swansea on Sunday and are expected to complete the deal before the transfer window shuts at 18:00 on Tuesday.
Martial, who has been called up to the France senior squad for the first time this week, has scored more goals (9) than any other teenager in Europe’s top five leagues since the start of last season.
