Sheffield Wednesday have announced they have signed former Sunderland and Marseille striker Steven Fletcher on a free transfer.
Fletcher, 29, spent the second half of last season on loan at Marseille and the Ligue 1 outfit opted against making his switch permanent.
The Scotland international returned to Sunderland only to find out they would not extend his deal and the free agent has now found a new home in the Championship with Wednesday, signing a four-year deal.
Fletcher scored three goals in 17 appearances in all competitions for Marseille last season.
