Napoli are keen on bolstering their midfield options with Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko this month, according to Sky Italia.
The Serie A league leaders appear to be weighing up alternative midfield options after missing out on number one priorities Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Christoph Kramer and Porto’s Hector Herrera.
Sissoko, 26, has been regularly linked with a move away from Newcastle and has ambitions to play in the Champions League.
The France international has been one of Newcastle’s best performers since joining from Toulouse in 2013, with Arsenal among those that have previously been interested in his services.
In fact, during that time Sissoko has completed at least 117 more dribbles than any other Newcastle player in the Premier League (204).
