Lyon will not stand in Alexandre Lacazette’s way out of the club at the end of the season but will not accept anything less than €70m (£60.3m) for their star striker, reports Canal+, via Get French Football.
Lacazette, 25, has revealed this season could be his last with the Ligue 1 giants as he seeks to make the next step in his career with a number of Europe’s biggest clubs interested in his signature.
Lyon rejected Arsenal’s £30m offer for the France international in the summer and now any suitor will now be required to pay double that fee should they want to sign the 25-year-old at the end of the season.
Lacazette progressed through the Lyon academy and has established himself as one of the best strikers in France in recent seasons and is now determined to enhance his reputation across the continent.
In Europe’s top five leagues this season only Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani (22) has scored more goals than Lacazette (18).
