Tottenham want to sign Fulham teenager Ryan Sessegnon in the summer and are willing to pay as much as £35m to land him, reports The Daily Telegraph.
Sessegnon has enjoyed a sensational campaign for Fulham but the Cottagers are ready to dig their heels in to keep him at the end of the season.
Manchester United have already been linked with a move for the 17-year-old this season but long-term admirers Tottenham want to beat their rivals to his signature.
Sessegnon turned down the chance to leave Fulham in the summer in order to sign his first professional contract and the Championship side value him closer to £50m.
Mauricio Pochettino’s are determined to land the England Under-19 international and are even willing to make him the second most expensive player in the club’s history.
Fulham could be forced into selling the versatile left-sided teen if they fail to gain promotion to the Premier League but Tottenham will test their resolve no matter what.
Sessegnon has remarkably scored 13 goals in the Championship this season, which is a tally that is only bettered by Matej Vydra (17), Leon Clarke (15) and Bobby Reid (14).
