Manchester United and Manchester City are prepared to rival Chelsea in the race to sign Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma this summer, reports Spanish publication Fichajes.
Mitoma's form hasn't been of the standard expected to Seagulls supporters this season but his performance have still caught the eye of the Premier League trio.
United are looking to sign a new winger in the off-season and have been linked with a move for Crystal Palace star Michael Olise.
City and Chelsea are also courting Mitoma as the duo look to bolster their frontlines, though the former are believed to be closing in on the signing of Savio from fellow City Group side Girona.
The Blues meanwhile are seeking to add at least one more wideman at the end of the season given the sub-par showings of Noni Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk with Athletic Club star Nico Williams believed to be on their radar.
Mitoma was unable to help Japan to Asian Cup glory at the turn of the year but has become a key man under Roberto De Zerbi at Brighton following the Italian's appointment at the AMEX in September 2022.
Mitoma, who has been directly involved in seven league goals this season, scoring three, is contracted to Brighton until 2027, so the south coast side are under no pressure to sell.
