Beijing Gouan are preparing to return with an increased offer for AC Milan striker Luiz Adriano after having an initial €10m (£7.8m) rejected, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
Adriano had been on the verge of joining Jiangsu Suning last month, only for the move to collapse after disagreements over his contract.
The Brazilian striker hasn’t established himself in the first-team since making the move from Shakhtar Donetsk at the start of the season and could now be set to finally seal his move to China.
In last season’s Champions League, only Neymar, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo (all 10) scored more goals than Adriano (9).
