Another Liverpool star offered £15m way out of Anfield
Fulham are willing to test Liverpool’s resolve with a £15m move for Divock Origi this month, The Sun reports.
The Belgian has found first team chances hard to come by since signing for the Reds and has made just two league appearances this season.
Despite that the 23-year-old scored perhaps the club’s most celebrated goal of the season with the late winner in the Merseyside derby against Everton.
Origi spent last season on loan at Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg but was unable to make a big impression in Germany, netting a modest six times in 31 appearances - of which 22 were starts.
That doesn’t seem to have put off Fulham, however, who are evidently concerned about their over reliance on top scorer Aleksandr Mitrovic for goals.
Should the Serbian struggle for form, as he has at times this season, or worse still suffer an injury, the Cottagers backup options are thin on the ground.
The Premier League strugglers would, however, be gambling on the striker rediscovering the form that saw him emerge as a real prospect with Belgium at the 2014 World Cup.
