Arsenal midfielder Alex Iwobi has agreed improved terms on a new long-term deal keeping him at the Emirates until 2021, according to The Daily Mirror.
Iwobi, 19, has been tipped for big things by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and has recently forced his way into the Frenchman’s starting XI.
The teenager’s recent performances have also seen him earn his first international cap with Nigeria and he has now reportedly agreed to a new £30,000-a-week five-year deal.
Iwobi only signed a four-year deal worth £10,000-a-week in October, but Wenger is keen to reward the talented midfielder, who looks set to have a big future at Arsenal.
All of Iwobi’s seven league appearances have come in 2016 and the Nigeria international, who could have represented England, has scored in back-to-back league games for Arsenal.
