Borussia Dortmund eye Zaha as Pulisic replacement

Borussia Dortmund have earmarked Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha as their ideal replacement for Christian Pulisic, reports BILD.

Pulisic will join Chelsea at the end of the season after a £58m deal was agreed with Dortmund at the start of the month.

Jadon Sancho’s emergence convinced Dortmund to cash in on Pulisic but they intend to use the money received from Chelsea to sign a replacement.

Dortmund have already been heavily linked with a move for Gladbach sensation Thorgan Hazard but it has now emerged Zaha is also being considered by the Bundesliga leaders.

Zaha has been heavily linked with a high profile move away from Palace in the last few years after establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s best players outside the top-six clubs.

Palace have so far managed to price out their Premier League rivals for Zaha’s signature but the Eagles should now brace themselves for summer interest from Dortmund.

Only Eden Hazard (65) has completed more dribbles than Zaha (62) in the Premier League this season, though the 26-year-old hasn’t scored a league goal since September.
