AC Milan plot move for Fiorentina frontman

AC Milan are in talks with fellow Serie A side Fiorentina over the potential signing of Croatian forward Nikola Kalinic, reports Calciomercato.com.

The 29-year-old enjoyed a hugely prolific campaign for the Viola, firing in 15 league goal and providing a further two assists for the Florence side.

Both teams have met several times over Kalinic, with AC Milan prepared to spend up to €25m to secure the services of the Croatia international.

The striker has two years left to run on his current deal at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, with Fiorentina under no pressure to cash in on Kalinic.

Kalinic, though, is keen to leave Fiorentina to play for AC Milan next season, with both parties set to meet again later this week as they look to thrash out a deal.
