Barcelona make opening bid for Euro 2024 star

Barcelona have made an offer for RB Leipzig attacker Dani Olmo, according to Sky Sports.

The offer for the Spanish star is believed to be worth more than £50 million, when add-ons are taken into consideration.

The structure of Barcelona's proposal, however, is claimed to have irked the German club, with only £33.7 million paid up front and the rest in possible bonuses.

As such, the bid is expected to be rejected by RB Leipzig out of hand.

Olmo starred for Spain in their triumphant Euro 2024 campaign, scoring three goals and providing two assists to earn our Player of the Tournament award.

Barcelona are also reported to be interested in signing fellow Spain star Nico Williams this summer.
