The Football Association have confirmed Arsenal have succeeded in their appeal to have Gabriel’s red card overturned.
Gabriel, 24, was shown a straight red card during Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday for his involvement in a heated exchange with Diego Costa.
The Brazilian central defender’s three-match suspension has now been withdrawn with immediate effect making him available for selection for Arsenal’s Capital One Cup clash with north London rivals Spurs on Wednesday evening.
However, Gabriel still has until Thursday to appeal against a separate offence of improper conduct.
