Rachid Ghezzal has rejected the chance to join West Ham to remain with Lyon, reports the London Evening Standard.
The versatile Lyon forward has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League with Everton and West Ham among those leading the chase for the exciting 24-year-old.
Ghezzal only has 12 months remaining on his existing deal but reportedly has no interested in leaving Lyon in this transfer window, forcing the likes of West Ham and Everton to look elsewhere.
The Algeria international played a direct hand in 16 goals in 29 league appearances for Lyon last season (eight goals, eight assists) and averaged more dribbles per game than any other teammate that started more than one game (2.1).
