Paris Saint-Germain outcast favours Premier League switch

Premier League clubs have been put on alert after it was discovered Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak would prefer to move to England than stay in France and join Lyon, claims RMC Sport.

Lyon have emerged as keen suitors for Krychowiak, who has been transfer listed by PSG despite only joining the Ligue 1 giants 12 months ago, as Bruno Genesio’s side look to strengthen their midfield options.

However, Krychowiak’s preference is to leave PSG and join a Premier League side, which could force Lyon into turning their attentions to Stoke midfielder Giannelli Imbula.

Monaco have already agreed personal terms with Stoke’s club-record signing but are struggling to agree a price with the Premier League outfit and Lyon could make a late swoop for the 24-year-old.

Krychowiak only made 11 appearances for PSG in the league last season, starting seven times. Unai Emery’s side had a win ratio of 57.1% in the league matches the Poland international started, compared to 75.8% when he was not picked.
