Chelsea eye up Courtois replacement

Chelsea have set their sights on Southampton shot stopper Fraser Forster if they cannot keep Thibaut Courtois in the summer, according to The Sun on Sunday.

Courtois has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge after refusing to commit his future to the club beyond the end of this season during the recent international break.

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in the Belgium international and the Blues have already put plans into place to cover themselves should they lose the 23-year-old.

Forster, 28, missed the first half of the season through injury and his return between the sticks was met with an instant return to form for Southampton.

The England international has kept six clean sheets in 12 league appearances this season.
