Bordeaux have announced they have reached an agreement in principle with AC Milan for the transfer of Jeremy Menez.
Menez, 29, will now undergo a medical examination before being presented as an official Bordeaux player on Monday afternoon.
The 29-year-old has spent the last two years with Milan but is on the verge of returning to France, where seven years of his professional career has been staged playing for Sochaux, Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain.
Despite only starting two league games for Milan last season no player has scored more goals in the last two Serie A campaigns for the Rossoneri than Menez (18).
