Barcelona stalwart alerts Premier League clubs

Barcelona defender Dani Alves has revealed he would like to play in the Premier League before he retires.

Alves, 32, was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United last summer before eventually renewing his deal with Barcelona for a further two years.

The Brazil international has been a regular first-team player for Barcelona since making the switch from Sevilla in 2008 and has revealed experience in the Premier League is on his radar before his career winds down.

“I’ve always said that playing in England is something I’ve got pending. I don’t know when but I’d like to play there,” Alves told The Guardian.
