Crystal Palace table stunning new deal for Tottenham target

Crystal Palace are determined to secure Wilfried Zaha’s long-term future and have offered the Tottenham target a new £120,000-a-week deal, claims The Daily Mirror.

Zaha only penned a £100,000-a-week contract 12 months ago but Palace are willing to offer improved terms in order to fend off long-standing interest from Premier League rivals Tottenham.

Mauricio Pochettino wants to sign a new forward capable of playing on the wings and through the middle this summer, earmarking Zaha and Manchester United wantaway Anthony Martial as top targets.

Martial’s agent has confirmed the Frenchman’s desires to leave United this summer, but it remains to be seen whether Jose Mourinho would sanction a deal to a Premier League rival.

Zaha would seemingly be the more gettable target of the two but Palace are determined to tie down the 25-year-old on club record terms.

Roy Hodgson’s side lost all nine league games when Zaha failed to start last season. Furthermore, only Eden Hazard (165) completed more dribbles than Zaha (119) in the Premier League last term.
