Arsenal star refutes exit claims

Mesut Ozil has taken to Twitter to refute claims from Spain he will push for a move away from Arsenal if Arsene Wenger remains in charg.

According to a report in Don Balon, Ozil has grown tired of Arsenal’s constant fallings and will sack in life at the Emirates for a return to Spain if Wenger isn’t replaced in the summer.

However, those reports would appear far from the truth after the Germany international insisted Wenger was a large part of his decision to leave Real Madrid for the Emirates in 2013.

Ozil has arguably been Arsenal’s best player this season and is only two assists (18) away from equalling Thierry Henry’s record for most assists in a single Premier League campaign (20). He has set up at least six more goals than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues this season.
