Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has rejected offers of £30m from two Chinese clubs, reports The Guardian.
Toure, 33, is widely expected to leave City this summer when Pep Guardiola arrives as manager but the Ivory Coast international wants to remain in the Premier League, even if that sees him move to a rival club.
Inter manager Roberto Mancini is interested in reuniting with the central midfielder in Milan but Toure is reportedly not interested in that proposal and wants to stay put in England.
Toure still has one-year remaining on his £220,000-a-week contract and wouldn’t necessarily just walk away from life at the Etihad this summer unless he finds a club that suits his ambitions.
The former Barcelona midfielder is often cited as a luxury player for City in the Champions League and has often been made the scapegoat for some of their worst nights in Europe, with the stats backing that theory up.
With Toure in the starting XI, City have only won 35.5% of their matches in the Champions League compared to more than half of them when he hasn’t started (55.6%).
