Lille have sacked Federic Antonetti exactly one-year after he was appointed as Herve Renard successor, according to French radio outlet RMC.
Antonetti, 55, took over as Lille manager with Les Dogues in a relegation fight last season before leading them on an incredible charge up the table to safety.
In fact, only Paris Saint-Germain (56) took more points from the moment Antonetti was put in charge of Lille in Ligue 1 last season (46).
However, Lille, who are about to be taken over by businessman Gerard Lopez, have plummeted back into the same shape as what Antonetti inherited and that has reportedly cost him his job.
Lille are only three points off bottom after winning just three of their opening 13 Ligue 1 matches, including each of their last three.
