Chelsea are ready to lock horns with Barcelona to sign £25m-rated Inter starlet Yann Karamoh, claims The Daily Mirror.
Karamoh joined Inter from French side Caen on a two-year loan deal in the summer, but the Serie A giants have a €6m (£5.3m) clause to make the switch permanent.
After a slow start to life in Italy, the 19-year-old made himself an instant hit with supporters after opening his account on his full Inter debut with a stunning winner against Bologna earlier this month.
Chelsea and Barcelona will continue to monitor the teenagers progress for the remainder of the season with a view to firming up their interest in the summer.
Of Inter players that have started at least one Serie A game this season, only Eder has a WhoScored rating as low as Karamoh (both 6.35).
